1 Se, huru hög är Kristi glans,
Där uppå Faderns tron!
Hans helgon, där en sluten krans,
Uppstämma sångens ton!

2 Hans kyrka bedje vid hans fot!
Dess äldste offret pris!
Och må han taga offret mot
På nådigt frälsarvis.

3 Ack, sången är så underskön, –
Så sjunger skaran stor:
"Vår Jesus lyssnar till vår bön
Och hör vår lofsångs kor."

4 Må evigt ljuda denna sång,
Må ära, frid och fröjd
På Lammet hvila, som en gång
Led smärtan i dess höjd.
