Send the glad message afar

Representative Text

1 Send the glad message afar o'er the sea,
Ring out love's beautiful song;
Blessed salvation, so boundless and free,
Pass the good tidings along!

Chorus:
Pass the good tidings along!
Pass the good tidings along!
Pass the good tidings along!
Pass the good tidings along!
All who love Jesus, a witnessing throng,
Pass the good tidings along!

2 Jesus, who came from his home far away,
Bent on a mission of love,
Tells us to "go" where he sends us today,
Bearing a light from above. [Chorus]

3 Trusting the Saviour who reigneth on high,
We in his strength shall be strong;
Looking to him for the grace he'll supply,
Pass the good tidings along! [Chorus]
