Representative Text

1. Stand like Caleb, tho’ the world oppose;
Vict’ry’s keynote is believing;
There’s no danger from ten thousand foes,
God’s almighty pow’r receiving.

Refrain
Stand like Caleb! fear no foe,
Trust, ye doubting, in Jehovah’s might;
God is leading, forward go,
Never falter in the cause of right.

2. Are there giants in the upward way?
Are there cities walled to heaven?
Glorious vict’ry shall be ours each day,
Trusting God by whom ’tis given. [Refrain]

3. There’s a land with milk and honey blest;
Why be faithless and fainthearted?
On Jehovah’s strong assurance rest,
Sin’s defense is now departed. [Refrain]
