Representative Text

1 The Saviour’s hand is knocking still,
He gently doth implore;
O when you bid Him enter in,
Throw open ev’ry door.

Refrain:
Throw open ev’ry door,
He’ll bless you more and more;
And bid Him stay with you alway,
Throw open ev’ry door.

2 If but one secret chamber dear,
Shall clos’d to Him remain;
He cannot with the Spirit fill,
Nor in full glory reign. [Refrain]

3 He comes with blessings in His hand,
His holiness and grace;
The light and love, and peace of God,
Shine in His blessed face. [Refrain]

4 Throw open ev’ry door to Him,
So tightly clos’d before;
He waiting stands, with outstretched hands,
Throw open ev’ry door. [Refrain]
