Representative Text

1 The wind was loud, all men could hear.
It was the Spirit coming near.
In flames of fire so gleaming red
He shone on each Apostle's head.

2 The doors the Apostles opened wide
And preached to all the crowds outside.
Their hearts were brave, their minds were clear,
They had no doubt nor any fear.

3 The Spirit gave the power to each
In many languages to preach.
And those who heard them knelt to pray.
Three thousand were baptized that day.
