Notes

The first three stanzas are based on the story of Christ’s healing of a woman with an internal hemorrhage
(Mark 5:24b–34/Luke 8:42b–48). By expanding and applying this event, the final two stanzas provide a
helpful model of how scripture can be related to our own lives.
