Representative Text

1 There is sunshine in the heart that beats for Jesus,
There is gladness ev’rywhere and ev’ry day,
There is joy that cannot fail,
Strength no foe can e’er assail,
A light divine that cannot fade away.

There is sunshine, there is sunshine
In the heart that beats for Him.
Where His glories shine, there is light divine
That never shall grow dim.
There is sunshine, there is sunshine,
Brighter far than Summer skies;
In the heart that beats for Jesus,
Shines a light that never dies.

2 There is sunshine in the heart that trusts in Jesus,
There’s a light that cloud and shadow cannot mar,
There’s a beacon burning bright,
There’s a signal day and night
That shows the Saviour’s glory near and far.

There is sunshine, there is sunshine
In the heart that trusts in Him.
Where His glories shine, there is light divine
That never shall grow dim.
There is sunshine, there is sunshine,
Brighter far than Summer skies;
In the heart that trusts in Jesus,
Shines a light that never dies.

3 There is sunshine in the heart that lives for Jesus,
There is beauty that no other life may known,
There is joy beyond compare,
And a story of treasure rare,
Which ev’ry needed blessing will bestow.

There is sunshine, there is sunshine
In the heart that lives for Him.
Where His glories shine, there is light divine
That never shall grow dim.
There is sunshine, there is sunshine,
Brighter far than Summer skies;
In the heart that lives for Jesus,
Shines a light that never dies.
