In the Ages to Come

Representative Text

1 There's a home for the ransomed on high,
There's a mansion of light and of love,
'Tis prepared for the saints in the sky,
'Tis the palace of glory above.

Refrain:
In the ages to come,
We shall dwell in that beautiful home.
In the ages to come,
We shall dwell in that beautiful home.

2 There is rest for the weary and sad,
There's a land of delight and of joy,
Where the righteous are happy and glad,
And their tongues in sweet anthems employ. [Refrain]

3 There's a crown for the faithful and pure,
A reward unto them will be giv'n,
For the promise of Jesus is sure,
They shall live with the Saviour in heav'n. [Refrain]
