Representative Text

1 There’s a Voice in sin’s wilderness, ringing so clear,
“Repent ye, repent ye, repent ye;”
Give heed as that warning shall fall on your ear,
“Repent ye, repent ye, repent ye.”

Refrain:
Repent while the time may be still called today;
Turn not from the tender entreaty away;
Give heed while that Voice doth in loving tones say,
“Repent ye, repent ye, repent ye.”

2 Heed the Voice that is sounding God’s love for lost man,
“Repent ye, repent ye, repent ye;”
O Turn from your evil just now while you can;
“Repent ye, repent ye, repent ye.” [Refrain]

3 That sweet Voice was born in the bosom of God;
“Repent ye, repent ye, repent ye;”
A message of grace, where it might be a rod;
“Repent ye, repent ye, repent ye.” [Refrain]
