A Collection of Psalms and Hymns #71a
1 To Sion's Hill I lift my Eyes,
From thence expecting Aid;
From Sion's Hill and Sion's GOD,
Who Heav'n and Earth hath made.
My Soul, in Safety rest,
For know, thy Guardian will not sleep;
His Care who Israel guards,
Will surely thee in Safety keep.
2 Shelter'd beneath th'Almighty's Wings,
Thou shalt securely rest;
Where neither Sun nor Moon shall thee
By Day or Night molest.
From common Accidents
His watchful Care shall guard thee still;
His Hand shall thee preserve,
From Foes that lie in wait to kill.
8 At home, abroad, in Peace, in War,
Thy GOD shall thee defend,
Conduct thee through Life's Pilgrimage,
Safe to thy Journey's End.
