Venid, pequeñuelos, venid sin tardar

Representative Text

1 Venid, niños todos, venid sin tardar,
Corred al pesebre en Belén a admirar
Del Padre en los cielos el don sin igual;
A Él sea la gloria, la paz al mortal.

2 Ved sobre el pesebre de un pobre portal
Lindísimo niño con blanco pañal;
Un rayo ilumina su rostro infantil;
En vez de la púrpura serve heno vil.

3 Mirad en su cuna, niñitos, su paz;
José con María contempla su faz;
Hay píos pastres orando en redor;
En lo alto mil ángeles cantan loor.

4 También, ¡oh niñitos!, con ellos orad;
Con ellos dad gracias, las manos alzad;
Al coro celeste las voces unid,
Del Padre y del Hijo el amor bendecid.
