Frank Marion Davis, 1839-1896 Born: Jan­u­ary 23, 1839, near Mar­cel­lus, Onon­da­ga Coun­ty, New York. Died: Au­gust 1, 1896, Ches­ter­field, In­di­a­na. Buried: Find­ley, Mi­chi­gan. Davis tra­veled ex­tens­ive­ly, liv­ing at dif­fer­ent times in Mar­cel­lus, New York; Vicks­burg, Mis­sis­sip­pi; Bal­ti­more, Ma­ry­land; Cin­cin­na­ti, Ohio; and Burr Oak and Find­ley, Mi­chi­gan. He taught voice and in­stru­ment­al class­es, had charge of choirs in var­i­ous plac­es, and sang ma­ny solos. He ne­ver mar­ried.
