Now as We Pray

Representative Text

1 We thank You, Lord, now as we pray
For Your good blessings on this day.
Please bless our lives with grace and love,
With gifts abundant from above.

2 We also pray for Your great peace
Which comes to us when we release
Our sins, our cares, ourselves to You.
Your strength is great and brings us through.

3 Bless all who turn to You in hope,
Who by your Word learn how to cope
With trials, tests and temptings, too.
And find their help and grace in You.

4 That we may worship You and stay
Within Your service all this day,
Grant us Your Spirit ev'ry hour,
Fill each of us with Christ-like pow'r.
