Klaas Hanzen Heeroma (Hoorn (Terschelling), October 13 1909 - Groningen, November 21 1972) was a Dutch poet and linguist. Heeroma wrote under the pseudonym Muus Jacobse, the name of one of his ancestors on his mother's side that fisherman on the island of Marken had been. Klaas Hanzen Heeroma was born on the island of Terschelling. In 1928 went Heeroma in Leiden Dutch study. In 1935 he was promoted to G. Kloeke. After his short time in Wassenaar and Leiden teacher had been, he was appointed in 1936 to assistant to the Dictionary of the Dutch language in Leiden, where he continued to work until his appointment in 1948 as professor of Dutch language and literature at the University of Indonesia to Jakarta.
