Representative Text

1 We’re little ships that sail away,
O’er life’s great sea so wide
We’re sailing, sailing day by day,
And Jesus is our guide.

Refrain:
Sailing, sailing,
O’er life’s sea so wide—
Sailing, sailing day by day,
And Jesus is our guide.

2 We fear not ocean’s angry might;
No harm can us betide,
We’re sailing to a haven bright,
And Jesus is our guide. [Refrain]

3 Tho’ small our ships—though wild the blast,
Though deep the sea and wide,
We’ll anchor safe in Heav’n at last,
For Jesus is our guide. [Refrain]
