Representative Text

1 When the tempter's coils are round thee,
Loose him, and let him go;
When his presence seems to bound thee,
Loose him, and let him go.

Chorus:
Loose him, and let him go,
Loose him, and let him go;
'Tis the voice of Jesus saying,
Loose him, and let him go.

2 Brother cut the cords that bind thee,
Loose him, and let him go;
Bid the tempter get behind thee,
Loose him, and let him go. [Chorus]

3 Do not be by satan driven,
Loose him, and let him go;
Send a fervent pray'r to heaven,
Loose him, and let him go. [Chorus]

4 Let him whisper to you never,
Loose him, and let him go;
Would you happy be forever,
Loose him, and let him go. [Chorus]
