Representative Text

1 Why should we be always giving―
Giving money, giving love?
Jesus loves the cheerful giver,
He will bless us from above.

Refrain:
Let us give with joy and gladness,
Give with generous heart and hand;
Giving brings the Savior’s blessing,
Let us give at His command.

2 Why should we be always giving―
Sending gifts so far away?
There they need the news of Jesus,
Millions die while we delay. [Refrain]

3 Why should we be always giving?
Jesus freely gives to all;
Every day and every moment,
His uncounted mercies fall. [Refrain]

4 Why should we be always giving?
’Tis a joy like that above;
Blessings shared are blessings doubled,
Giving always goes with love. [Refrain]
