Representative Text

Let all the earth, all time and space,
all people, everywhere,
come make the Lord your dwelling place,
come, try and trust God's care.
God, I’ll sing praises to your name,
and in your strength rejoice;
when your salvation is my theme,
exalted be my voice!

You give the angels charge to keep
my feet in all your ways;
they watch my pillow while I sleep,
and guard my waking days.
Their hands shall bear me, lest I fall
and dash against the stones;
are they not servants at your call,
to guard your faithful ones?

"Because you set your love on me,
I'll save you," (says the Lord);
"I'll keep your soul most willingly,
with my all-powerful word.
For those to whom my name is known,
I'll honour them in heaven;
there my salvation shall be shown,
and endless life be given."
