DAAR JUICHT EEN TOON is attributed to Henri A. C. Malan (PHH 288), renowned nineteenth-century Swiss reformer and evangelist. The tune consists of two long lines with ascending melodic phrases and strong cadential rhythms. Sing in harmony with strong organ accompaniment.
