81. I Am Trusting Thee

1 All my sin to Thee, dear Lord, confessing,
From the heavy burden now I’m free;
Calv’ry’s precious blood hath purchased blessing;
I am trusting, fully trusting Thee.

Savior, all my cares on Thee I roll;
Evermore defend my trusting soul;
Yielding all to Thee in glad surrender,
I am trusting, fully trusting Thee.

2 Though I walk amid the shadows dreary,
Or, where beams of pleasure shine for me;
Faith is singing carols bright and cheery;
I am trusting, fully trusting Thee. [Refrain]

3 I have found a safe-guard in temptation,
Closely pressing though my foes may be:
Thou, alone, my strength and consolation,
I am trusting, fully trusting Thee. [Refrain]

4 I have found a balm for every sorrow,
Oil to calm the waves of every sea;
Help availing for today, tomorrow;
I am trusting, fully trusting Thee. [Refrain]

5 Till is finished all my earthly story,
Till my everlasting Home I see,
Till I look upon Thy face in glory,
