90. The Truth in Jesus

1 I’ve found the truth in Jesus,
The one so dear to me,
It is that thro’ His precious blood,
My fettered soul is free,
And tho’ I sought it far and wide,
I knew no peace within,
Until I found the Crucified,
Who cleansed my sin.

Refrain:
I’ve found the truth in Jesus,
In Him my life abides,
For God is truth, He will prevail,
No matter what betides,
I need no other blessings,
Since Christ I am posessing,
I’ll live each day confessing
To the truth in Him.

2 I’ve found the truth in Jesus!
My heart once full of woe,
Has cast aside its ev’ry doubt;
‘Tis blessed now to know
That ev’ry care He sends to me,
Is from His throne above,
So all I need is Faith to see,
His Hand of love. [Refrain]

3 I’ve found the truth in Jesus,
And ev’ry one I meet,
Shall know that I belong to Him,
While to the Mercy Seat
I’ll bring another soul in need,
Some heart bowed down with grief,
His truth shall make them free indeed,
And bring relief. [Refrain]
