1 While we wait before thee,
Grant thy presence, Lord;
While our praise we offer,
Strength afford.

2 Bless each weak endeavor
To perform thy will;
In thy service keep us,
Keep us still.

3 From thy word, Lord, teach us
Truths we need to know;
By thy spirit guide us
Here below.
