1 Forward all, put on the gospel armor,
Ready, stand, to fight for Christ the Lord;
Take His shield and helmet of salvation,
Onward trusting ever in His word.

Hold aloft His banner,
Shout aloud hosanna
Faithfully, follow your Leader,
And the vict’ry you shall win.

2 Onward, still ye valiant happy soldiers,
Go with faith to conquer ev’ry sin;
In the strength of Jesus we will triumph,

3 Onward, still keep moving ever onward,
Till we reach fair Canaan’s happy shore;
There to dwell forever with our Captain,
