مقبلٌ عما قريب
فاستعدوا يا جموع
للقا هذا الحبيب
ربما الليل انتصف
فاقتنوا الوقت النفيس
واسمعوا صوتاً هتف
"اخرجوا لاقوا العريس"

2 إخوتي خلوا السبات
واسمعوا قول النذير
واملأوا قبل الفوات
سرجَكم زيتاً منير
فالدجى قبل الصباح
حالكاً دوماً يصير
ثم يبدو باتضاح
كوكب الصبح المنير

3 لا تكونوا مهملين
كالعذارى الجاهلات
بئسَ تأجيلاً مشين
داعياً للعنات
فاسهروا حتى إذا
جاء لا نُلقى نيام
وإذا متنا كذا
أن نُنادَى ونُقام
