1 Lift your eyes of faith and look
on the signs He did ordain!
Thus the Bread of Life was broke,
thus the Lamb of God was slain;
thus was shed on Calvary
His last drop of blood for me!

2 See the sacred sacrifice,
see the altar stained with blood!
Crucified before our eyes,
faith discerns the dying God;
dying that our souls might live,
gasping at His death, "Forgive!"
