On this blessed Christmas morn;
Let us seek the manger’s side,
Where the Son of Man was born.
Hail! All hail! Emmanuel.

2 Perfect man! Eternal God!
Ruler of the boundless skies,
There a weak and lowly child—
Mystery of mysteries!

3 Without speech, yet Counsellor;
In a manger, yet a King;
Natural, yet Wonderful;
Let our glad hosannas ring,
Hail! All hail! Emmanuel.

4 Glory to the Father be;
Glory to the Blessed Son;

Throughout all Eternity.
