CCCXXV. Shewing forth the Lord's Death

1 Together with these symbols, Lord,
Thy blessed self impart;
And let thy very flesh and blood
Feed the believing heart.

2 Let us from all our sins be wash'd
In thy redeeming blood;
And let thy spirit be the seal,
That we are sons of God.

3 Come, Holy Ghost, with Jesus' love,
Prepare us for this feast;
And let us banquet with our Lord,
And lean upon his breast.
