Tune: | [Jesus, only Jesus] |
Composer: | Rev. William H. Shults |
1 Jesus, only Jesus,
Thou art all in all;
Fount of life and comfort,
Thou dost make us whole,
Take us soul and body,
Into care divine;
Watch and keep us safely
From the snares of sin.
2 Be our strength and Helper,
Our support and stay;
May we never falter
On our pilgrim way,
Lone and long the pathway;
And the journey be,
We shall never stumble,
While we follow Thee.
3 Thou hast made atonement
With Thy precious blood;
Now apply the healing,
Of that crimson flood,
Then our hope shall anchor,
On the Rock secure;
Then shall faith have vision,
Failing nevermore.
