Title: Lord, Help Me to be a Soul Winner.
Refrain First Line: O Lord, help me to be a soul winner for Thee
Language: English
Publication Date: 1909

Notes: Now Public Domain. The above song was composed at Alto, Texas, August 25th, 1908, and respectfully dedicated to Prof. A. D. Wall, whose energy and enthusiasm helped to make a success of the 45th session of McNiel's Normal Music School, which was being conducted at Palestine Church at this time. My only desire, while laboring through this life is to be successful in teaching the young men and women of our land and country, the noble science and power in sacred song: Thus enabling them to praise the most holy and righteous Saviour, by singing the sweet songs of Zion. This accomplished, together with the winning of some precious souls for Jesus, my prayer will be answered, “Lord help me to be a soul winner.”
