P. Boyd Smith Hymnology Collection: The collection has approximately 2100 volumes, with many rare and unique items including several early Sacred Harp and shape-note hymnals, early editions of works of Isaac Watts, and A Select Collection of Hymns (London, 1780), edited by Countess Selina Has-tings Huntingdon. It also has multiple editions of the works of Gipsy Smith, Ira Sankey, Philip P. Bliss, George C. Stebbins, Fanny Crosby, and James McGranahan. Nearly fifty denominations and religious groups are represented. Twenty languages are represented. Titles are continuously added to OCLC’s database. Date range: 17th-20th c.
