Luther's Hymn according to the New Scots

You are here

Two of the instances of a tune called LUTHER'S HYMN turned out, on inspection, to be NUN FREUT EUCH. However, the one remaining instance, from the 1884 Halifax Methodist hymnal, cites a different meter. Could someone with access to the HMB1884 look at T19 and see if it is something else recognizable, or if the meter was misstated, or what? Thanks!

Comments

In the HMB1884 it is the basically the same as NUN FREUT EUCH from Klug's "Geistliche Lieder." The meter given is 6-8's (or 8.8.8.8.8.8)
