"LANCASHIRE is a suitably rousing march tune to accompany this text."
This statement occurs in the Notes section of the LANCASHIRE tune authority page, but it doesn't say which text is "this" text. My own guess is "Lead on, O King eternal", but the same statement appears under tune info on the text authorities for "’Tis the day of resurrection", and for "Sing to the Lord of harvest", and presumably any text set often enough to LANCASHIRE to qualify for a slice of the pie chart. Sometimes, this could be ludicrous and make the editors of the Psalter HH appear loons. Is it possible the tune could be specified (presumably [in square brackets]) on whatever page the quotation is being copied from?
