Author country

You are here

I am preparing to enter a hymnal which includes a country in parentheses for most authors and composers. Should I enter this along with the person name, elsewhere, or not at all?

Comments

The country should not go behind the person's name. It can go in the note field, or in the source field if it looks like a source. On the authority page there is a field for the Place of Origin, so it can go there as well.
