The author/composer page (https://hymnary.org/person/Schutte_DL) says Hymnary has no bio info on Daniel Laurent Schutte.

This information is out there in a number of locations. These are easily available:

Is suggesting this enough to help, or would something else be needed to fill in this hole on the Hymnary?

Bios on our site need to be originally written (not copied and pasted or generated by AI) and given to Hymnary to use by the writer/copyright holder. It is not currently a priority of Hymnary staff to write bios, and it takes quite a bit of our time to do the research and writing. We have added the wikipiedia link to his page.
