Charles Sherwood Jekyll › Recommendations

Jekyll was a chor­ist­er at West­min­ster Ab­bey, and lat­er or­gan­ist at St. Paul’s temp­o­ra­ry church in Ken­sing­ton, 1857; as­sist­ant or­gan­ist at West­min­ster Ab­bey (1860-75); Ac­ton Par­ish Church (1860); St. George’s, Han­o­ver Square (1861-77); or­gan­ist and com­pos­er to the Cha­pels Roy­al, St. James’ Pal­ace and White­hall (1876-91). He al­so re­ceived Queen Vic­tor­ia’s Ju­bi­lee Me­dal.
