Daß du uns dein Wort gegeben,
Gieb uns Gnade, daß auch wir
Nach demselben heilig leben;
Und den GLauben also stärke,
Daß er thätig sei im Werke.

2. Unser Gott und Vater du,
Der uns lehret was wir sollen,
Schenk uns deine Gnad dazu,
Gieb zum Wissen auch das Wollen,
Laß es ferner noch gelingen,
Gieb zum Wollen das Vollbringen.

3. Gieb uns, eh wir gehn nach Haus,
Deinen väterlichen Segen,
Breite deine Hände aus,
