The Lord Will Come

Representative Text

1. As Christ the Lord ascended,
So he will come again
In glory bright; O wondrous sight!
Upon the earth to reign.

Chorus:
Glory to Jesus forever!
The good news tell again:
He will return in glory bright,
Return on the earth to reign.
Glory to Jesus forever!
The good news tell again:
He will return to pow'r and might,
Return on the earth to reign.

2. In that great day of triumph
The sound of strife shall cease,
And hand clasp hand in all the land,
In bonds of perfect peace. [Chorus]

3. Dark lands by man forsaken,
The dreary desert's gloom,
Before our sight in beauty bright,
Fair as the rose shall bloom. [Chorus]
