What a Steadfast Faith

With a steadfast faith together let us walk In the Lord's divine command

Author: Fanny J. Crosby
Tune: [With a steadfast faith together let us walk]
Published in 3 hymnals

Representative Text

1 With a steadfast faith together let us walk
In the Lord's divine command;
For we know His word shall never pass away,
But forever like His throne shall stand.

Refrain:
Though the sun and moon and stars shall cease,
And the beauty of the earth decay,
Yet the word of God, oh, blessed be His name,
It shall never, never pass away.

2 With a steadfast faith that nothing can remove
Let us do our Master's will;
For His word hath said a blessing shall be ours
If we follow and obey Him still. [Refrain]

3 With a steadfast faith united let us toil,
And rejoicing bear our lot;
For the Lord hath said, in gentle, loving tones,
"I am with thee to the end, fear not." [Refrain]

4 With a steadfast faith temptations let us meet
Till the conflict here is past;
For the Lord hath said, "The faithful unto death
'Shall form Him receive a crown at last." [Refrain]
