16617. Come Let Us Sing Of Heaven

1 Come let us sing of Heaven,
That glorious home above;
Where Jesus reigns forever,
And all is light and love;
Where golden harps are ringing
In sweet melodious lays,
And angel choirs are singing
Their songs of grateful praise.

2 Come let us sing of Heaven,
That happy land so fair,
Beyond death’s gloomy river,
No sorrow enters there;
Within the shining portals
The saints and angels meet;
They cast their crowns of glory
Beneath the Savior’s feet.

3 They praise the God of Heaven,
Their sovereign they adore;
Their hymns of loud hosannas
Shall ring forevermore;
And when we reach that haven
Of our immortal rest,
We’ll join the heav’nly chorus,
And be forever blest.
