Listen To The Bells

Representative Text

1 Listen to the merry christmas bells,
Ringing ev'rywhere;
Wonderful the news their pealing tells,
Blessings and good cheer.
In a lowly manger Christ is born,
Oh, rejoice and sing;
Join in Seraph song this christmas morn,
To the newborn King.

Chorus:
Listen to the bells
Listen to the bells,
Over all the earth this christmas day,
How their music swells;
Listen to the bells,
Listen to the bells,
Driving care and sadness all away,
Merry christmas bells.

2 Glory in the highest peace on earth,
Let your voices ring;
Sing about the blessed Savior's birth,
He is Lord and King.
Brining light and gladness, peace, good cheer,
To earth's lonely dells;
Over all the land today we hear,
Merry christmas bells. [Chorus]

3 O'er the little town of Bethlehem,
See the great bright Star;
Pointing out the place to those wise me,
Coming from afar.
Wonderful Redeemer of the world,
In a manger born;
Let the news of gladness now be hurled,
On this christmas monr. [Chorus]
