Now the wings of day are furled . An altered form of S. A. Brooke's "Now that day its wings has furled," p. 113, ii. 6, into the American Pilgrim Hymnal, 1904. In the 1891 ed. of his Christian Hymns, the author has changed the opening line of his hymn to "Now the eyes of day are furled."
