Sharon Damazio (born 1953) is an American teacher, and songwriter best known for the praise chorus “Crown Him King of Kings” (1991). Together with her late husband, Pastor Frank Damazio, she co-led City Bible Church (now Mannahouse) in Portland, Oregon for over twenty-five years. Her ministry combined worship leadership, prayer, and mentoring, and she played a central role in shaping the congregation’s charismatic worship life. Her song “Crown Him King of Kings”—a simple refrain drawn from Isaiah 9:6 and Revelation 19:16—became a hallmark of 1990s praise music and was later included in major hymnals such as The Celebration Hymnal (1997).
