Representative Text

1 I have plunged beneath the flood,
I have felt the love divine;
Precious Jesus, through thy blood,
Thou art mine, and I am thine.

Chorus:
Glory! glory! I am thine,
Precious Jesus. thou art mine;
Sweet, oh, sweet the love divine,
Hallelujah! I am thine.

2 I have seen thy smiling face,
I have heard thy pard'ning voice;
I have felt thy quick'ning grace,
In thy love I now rejoice. [Chorus]

3 Thou art ever by my side
All along my pilgrim way;
Thou art near when woes betide,
Near to strengthen day by day. [Chorus]

4 Oh, the sweets of pard'ning love,
All its depths we ne'er can tell,
Till we reach the home above,
Where immortal spirits dwell. [Chorus]
