The latest in Michael Burkhardt's "Festive Hymn Settings" series, the hymn tune LAUDA ANIMA is given a stirring and majestic treatment using brass quintet, timpani, and organ. Four stanzas, with SATB voices on verses two and three (verse three can be a cappella.) Verses one and four are in unison (verse four with descant.)
