Scored for Handbells, SATB Choir

This slow gospel setting of "Silent Night" is one of the highlights of Joel Raney's Christmas cantata, Celebrate the Season. There are a number of performance options including adding rhythm, unison choir and handbells (the bell part is included). Another option is to have a narrator read Luke, chapter 2 over the second verse which can be sung softly, hummed, or sung on a soft 'oo' vowel. Any way you do it, you're sure to find this soulful setting a powerful addtition to your Christmas program.
