Sally Ann Morris Hymntune Collection

Ever since Sally Ann Morris” first collection of hymn tunes, Giving Thanks in Song and Prayer, was published in 1998, GIA has been eager to introduce the church to more of her work. This collection features 48 of her latest offerings, as well as Black Mountain Liturgy, a complete setting of liturgical texts.

The hymn tunes, while sparkling with rhythmic vitality and harmonic freshness, are singable by any congregation or community. Church musicians, text writers, worship planners, and hymnal committees will want to peruse this volume for original compositions “to sing the Artist’s praise.”
