Á Náði Rík Og Dýrabar

Representative Text

1 Á náði rík og dýrabar,
Ið frelsti meg, eitt vrak.
Tá vilstur eg og blindur var,
Gud myrkrið burtur rak.

2 At óttast náðin lćrir meg,
Men fryktin lýggja má.
Hvør søt var náðin, fyrsta eg
Í trúnni Jesus sá.

3 Í snerrum og á vandaveg,
Men tryggur higartil.
Tað náðin var, ið leiddi meg,
Og heim meg leiða vil.

4 Tá prís vit sungið hava har
Í Himli, túsund ár,
Tá skal tað tykjast, sum tað var,
Vit byrjaðu í gjár.
