Gathered With One Accord

Representative Text

1 Come, thou compassionate Savior,
Meet with us, Master and Lord,
Be in the midst of thy people,
Gathered with one accord.

Refrain:
Speak, Lord, thy servants will hear thee,
Come, the heart's trust to reward;
Here, in thy temple, behold us,
Gathered with one accord.

2 Many the burdens we carry,
Every heart knoweth its own;
Many our songs of rejoicing,
Reaching the heav'nly throne. [Refrain]

3 Lord, thou hast searched us and known us,
Heart are all open the thee;
Now, in one fervent petition
We would this hour agree. [Refrain]

4 Grant us the gift of thy Spirit,
Come and refresh us, O lord;
Make thyself known to thy children,
Gathered with one accord. [Refrain]
