Will It Be You?

Representative Text

1 Hark! hark! outside your door,
Long, long, closed by your sin;
Hear now the voice of your God,
O soul, bid him come in.

Refrain:
Somebody’s turning God’s Spirit away,
Oh, is it you? oh, is it you?
Someone will miss a bright mansion and crown,
Brother, oh, will it be you?

2 Come, come, why don’t you come,
Jesus is pleading again;
Oft, oft he’s called you before,
Must he still call you in vain. [Refrain]

3 Long, long the Spirit you’ve felt
Wooing your wandering heart;
Do not neglect him too long,
Lest he forever depart. [Refrain]

4 Once more the Spirit divine
Calls you from heaven above;
Once more the Father and Son
Call you in infinite love. [Refrain]
