Crown Him King #57
1 Over the river! oh, what is there?
Over the river, the river?
Hearts ever happy and souls ever fair,
Basking in glory for ever.
Chorus:
Over the river, the river wide,
Over the beautiful river,
Angels and blessed immortals abide,
Sinless and happy for ever.
2 Over the river! oh, who is there--
Over the river, the river?
Friends who have gone from our earth-life to share,
Life from the Bountiful Giver. [Chorus]
3 Over the river! oh, wonderful land,
Over the river, the river!
Happy and holy each radiant band,
May we be with them forever. [Chorus]
